Since 1994, our seasoned team of consultants and educators has helped hospitals strengthen their existing case management programs, re-define utilization review, and provide hospital-wide education on the practice of hospital case management. The collective experience of founders Stefani Daniels, RN, MSNA, CMAC, ACM and Marianne Ramey, RN, ACM, CPUR brings expertise to the table in hospital operations, case management leadership, healthcare education, utilization review and strategic planning to deliver beginning-to-end solutions. Stefani Daniels, Advisor & Founder

Stefani Daniels, RN, MSNA, CMAC, ACM is the founder and managing partner of Phoenix Medical Management, Inc. She is a former hospital executive, chief nursing officer and senior consultant with Johnson & Johnson. Stefani held faculty appointments at University of Pennsylvania, Nova Southeastern University in the Graduate Division of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship and Columbia University in New York. She serves on the editorial board of Lippincott's Professional Case Management journal, HCPro's Case Management Monthly, and CMSA Today, and is a popular speaker at international, national and regional conferences. Stefani is a contributing author to the 2nd and 3rd edition of CMSA's Core Curriculum and is the co-author of The Leader's Guide to Hospital Case Management and the 2nd edition of the popular text The Hospital Guide to Contemporary Utilization Review.


Marianne Ramey, Advisor & Founder

Marianne Ramey, RN, ACM, CPUR is the senior partner of Phoenix Medical Management, Inc. She began her career as a practicing nurse and held several leadership positions in hospital nursing departments and case management programs. With her strength in case management interim leadership, Marianne has successfully led care management transformation projects in New Hampshire, Arizona, Tennessee. California, New York, Michigan and Kansas hospitals. Before joining Phoenix, Marianne served as a management consultant with Johnson & Johnson in their Resource Management Consulting and Services division. Marianne is co-author of the text The Leader's Guide to Hospital Case Management.


Tiffany Ferguson, Chief Executive Officer

Tiffany Ferguson is CEO of Phoenix Medical Management, Inc., the case management company. Tiffany serves is an adjunct professor at Northern Arizona University, Department of Social Work and on the American College of Physician Advisors (ACPA) Observation Subcommittee. Tiffany is a regular contributor to RACmonitor, Case Management Monthly, serves on the editorial board for CMSA Today, and commentator for Finally Friday. She is a weekly correspondent on SDoH for the news podcast, Monitor Monday. After practicing as a hospital social worker, she went on to serve as Director of Case Management and quickly assumed responsibilities in system level leadership roles in Health & Care Management, which includes CM, UR, CDI, HIM, and coding. She has held c-level responsibility for a large employed medical group which included value-based arrangements, PCMH, and outpatient care management. Tiffany is a graduate of Northern Arizona University and received her MSW at UCLA. She is a licensed social worker, ACM, and CMAC certified.


Marie Stinebuck, Chief Operations Officer

Marie Stinebuck, MBA, MSN, ACM, is the COO of Phoenix Medical Management, Inc., the leading case management firm. Marie has practiced as a nurse for the past 25 years with 17 years in the field of case management. Marie has served in executive leadership roles with oversight of case management, utilization review, denials prevention, clinical documentation improvement, and medical record integrity. Marie has authored articles for RACmonitor and other case management resources and is a weekly contributor on Finally Friday. Marie serves as a board member for the Arizona Chapter of the American Case Management Association (ACMA). Marie holds an MBA, and an MSN in Leadership.
